The aim of this summer school, jointly organized by the ETH domain initiative SCENE, the TriNational ForestLab, the SwissForestLab and the NFZ.forestnet, is to provide a holistic overview of carbon sequestration strategies. Experts will provide an in-depth understanding of novel concepts, approaches and available data. Novel modeling and assessment approaches will be discussed, taking into account the expectations for the forests of the future from a scientific, forestry and socio-economic perspective.
Applications will be accepted from the end of February 2026.
